The Story So Far

If you look for reasons why XO is unlike any other dental experience, you’ll find it in the story of our award-winning founder, Dr Adam Patel.

The journey starts across the continents some 5,000 miles away, where Adam graduated top-of-class from the prestigious University of Sharjah College of Dental Medicine in the UAE.

Staying in Dubai to practice, Adam discovered much more than the opulence for which the city is famed, with impeccable service and hospitality deeply ingrained into every aspect of culture—including dentistry.

But it wasn’t just the plush facilities and warm welcome that left their mark.

He was also to discover an environment where highly skilled clinicians quietly practised world-leading general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry with a distinctly personal touch.

Shouldn’t all dentistry be this good?

We believe it should. From Brockholes to the Burj Khalifa, everyone should have access to an enriching dental experience that leaves you looking and feeling like the best version of yourself—without the Dubai pricetag.

To achieve this, Adam embarked on intensive study with a diploma in aesthetic dentistry at The University of Lyon, France. He then studied closer to home at Manchester University, becoming one of only a handful of UK dentists to earn an MSc degree in restorative and prosthodontic dentistry.

Extensive skills and experience have made Adam a much sought-after teacher and educator for dental professionals entering the world of complex restorative and implant treatment.

At XO, Adam has assembled a like-minded team that shares his vision of bringing a little Dubai warmth to the North and showing everyone a different way of doing dentistry.
